Johannes Breuer is a designer, lecturer and research associate at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. He gained his Ph.D. (summa cum laude) from the Bauhaus University Weimar. His previous stations were the Center for Responsible Research and Innovation at the Fraunhofer IAO, the Fraunhofer IMW and Deutsche Telekom and various design agencies. He completed his undergraduate studies in communication design at MSD (B.A. 2015) and at Pforzheim University (M.A. 2017). His current research and practice focuses on the participatory development of digital medical care systems and visualisation of body data. Johannes Breuer is academically and scientifically active as a co-editor of the book series Atlas of Data Bodies (Transcript Publishing), in addition to various national and international publications.
